"The company you keep determines your character."
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a native of the Monroe/ West Monroe area with an undergraduate degree from ULM in speech therapy with an additional certification in deaf education. I have earned my Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.
I specialize in serving individuals as well as couples who may be struggling with a variety of issues ranging from anxiety, depression, divorce, marriage, parenting and blended families. I help assist my clients to develop boundaries in relationships, to develop a healthy personal identity, and to establish balance in the many areas of a woman's life.
My years of experience with adolescent girls allows me to offer insight and guidance as both parents and daughters navigate through those challenging years. I believe that the counseling process is one in which the client and counselor work together in a safe, trusting environment in order to define concerns, establish goals, and work in a
systematic approach toward achieving those goals.
I am married, the mother of three grown children, and I am enjoying being a grandmother to five grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, reading and traveling.
